The synaogues I have attended around where I used to live in the UK all have high security and bag checks. Sadly, antisemitism is not a new phenomenon but has been going on for centuries. During the Middle Ages Europe was highly anti semitic. And then starting from the 1800's when mass media became popular anti semitism took further hold in Europe. WWI and WWII, and after the wars. It hasn't stopped. EDIT: want to clarify that I'm Christian and not Jewish, but I like to attend temple and I like to celebrate Shabbath with my UK family. You also ignore the major religion which persecuted Jews the most. People like you only sympathize with the Jews, when they can put blame on another minority.
