C2C was truly a gift, it gave Gaga the experience and training for major vocals, it gave Gaga another Grammy and a #1 album, thanks to that she was able to perform at more high profile events, and I like to think that; without C2C we wouldn’t have ASIB, and the huge comeback. It redefined her career and helped her to be more versatile :tony:

Just Another Day is her jazziest pop song and that wasn't even on regular Joanne.

Jazz is not my cup of tea ( not even with Gaga on it :poot: ), but this is well deserved :applause:  :golfclap:

Just Another Day was being recorded just weeks before Joanne was released. She was recording more tracks just to HAVE a deluxe album, otherwise we’d just have a standard.

Why would she do that? She has said she doesn't like Deluxe editions iirc. That's why ARTPOP or TFM didn't have any.

I'm sorry, this is not jazz :laughga:

It's American folk and indie-sounding (which is vaguely the origin of jazz) but I don't think it's jazz. The trumpet solo alone in JAD makes it sound much jazzier (and then there's the uptemo-ness and the piano).

No she doesn't, I think it was probably the label pushing for a deluxe version. Doesn’t make sense that Gaga herself paid to have deluxe tracks on Joanne.

Deserved!!

Its sad how many Gaga fans never listened to it in full. But oh well. I love it!

Mr S

If it's "biggest" then it should be #2 behind Watch the Throne. Those other albums did not sell more. If it's a subjective list than fine.

Absolutely agree. It was one of the best moves of her entire career! ASIB would not have happened without it.

She (and he) did that !! :applause:

Tho I wonder how much Billboard had been paid for that #3 placement.
