It doesn't just change overnight so yes it is slow. That doesn't mean you don't have to worry about it though lol. Climate has been changing and these changes over long periods of time are what account for changing weather patterns and worsening natural disasters. Although we already are seeing the effects of climate change, overtime they will only get worse. Especially as rising sea levels flood the coasts and hot, dry temperatures create more drought and water scarcity.
