The Carpenters 309 Posted July 3, 2019 Share Posted July 3, 2019 Kind of disappointed. Not for me but for all of the gingers that adored her character. My little cousin has red hair and growing up you could see her face light up that she could have her own Disney princess character(BTW she would still wear a bigger red wig when she dressed up as her so itâs not about that). Love the idea behind doing this but it sucks for the people that felt represented. Donât mean this in a bad way but wish they would have released the Princess and the Frog as a live action movie before this one so they could keep her ginger. Itâs hard not to see this as a calculated move for diversity but maybe just make more leading characters of color. Donât have to change them when itâs not necessary.
