Are you happy Madge haters from GGD?

Cause the album’s still amazing and critically acclaimed. They say ARTPOP flopped too and we all love it over here.

.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

A lot of female artist have trouble charting nowadays

Christina Aguilera: Liberation: 6 - 98 - OUT
Mariah Carey: Caution: 5 - 55 - 163 - OUT
Avril Lavigne: Head Above Water: 13 - 113 - OUT
Carly Rae Jepsen: 18 - 182 - OUT
Fergie: Double Dutchess: 19 - 131 - OUT

It’s not just females. Most established artists are dropping soon after their debut its just that this one stands out because millions were wasted promoting it and it now has the distinction of being one of the biggest drops from #1.

Saint Gaga

Lmao...Even Cheek 2 Cheek outsold in its 2nd week, while it being  a Jazz album, which will only be bought by oldies...

I agree the album is really good, but it’s not critically acclaimed. Critics still have a huge bias against Madge, though there were some who actually appreciated it :triggered:

Most critics I’ve read loved it though. It helped that everyone thought it was gonna suck ass.

Im so tired of these kinds of articles being written, a lot of artists fall hard after their first week these days. Do we have to announce everytime someone falls farther than someone else? I swear theres like 12 of these made a year lol

and im not talking about gagadaily im talking about music media btw

That's sad considering it's her best album in a looong time, but I'm not suprised. Still happy it went #1

Those millions were not "wasted" as the album has had a #1 debut. It's her 14th studio album, almost 4 decades into her career, it obviously can't perform as good as her previous ones. And we're also in the streaming era, and we know how it works, especially when it comes to older artists. :smh:
