Lion Heart 15,041
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I hated the climate change aspect of the debate. IMO that should be a standalone debate at another time. This just wasn't the right time. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
FATCAT 60,888
I honestly think that Kamala had such an impact, including on me. I think she's got what it takes. This kitten over here (meow)

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Okay rankings imo: Kamala, Pete, Bernie Losers: Hickenlooper, Bennett, Williamson (though she was iconic ) SWALWELL (the worst ) Meh: Gillibrand, Biden, Yang I think Kamala was the biggest victor, even though her history as prosecutor is suspect, and while she did a lot of "as a former prosecutor" none of the things she said she was for today contradict the basic level of experience she had as a prosecutor. (I'm saying that her faults as a prosecutor don't negate the basic things she did that she can say she is experienced in) I wanted Biden to lose harder. He definitely didnt impress imo, his basic stance was "I don't want to say I agree/disagree with yes/no answers" when they asked for a show hand of hands, and "I ran with Obama and he was perfect, everyone loves him, and dont forget I was there too!" He's playing on the large group of people who want a return to the Obama era of civility and incrementalism,, which is unfortunately effective. But I think his actual policy proposals are quite basic and uncreative, he's truly just a boring moderate and not that effective of a speaker, no matter how much you "god bless america and the troops xoxo" at the end of your closing statements Kamala was SO right to critique Biden and Obama though, she gained many points for me there, it didn't come off as aggressive or inappropriate or anything. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
Morphine Prince 109,683
Bernie is getting backlash for saying he'd raise taxes for the middle class. It makes me incredibly sad my country can't have affordable or cost free healthcare and education like so many other Western countries. It seems like it will never be a reality. It's so depressing. I hate the greed in this country. We are treated as cash cows instead of human beings.

Lukewarm conservatives will NOT lean dem if he is nominated and out there. It’s not right, it’s not fair, but it HAS to be this way if we want to get swing voters. Look at his husband’s post before the debate though. His husband, Chasten, was tightening Pete’s tie before the debate and said he loves him ❤️❤️❤️

But we did get a few acknowledgements of what we talked about the entire time, namely the fact that Sanders' ideas dominated the entire debate: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2019/06/bernie-sanders-socialism-debate-democrats/592900/

HorusRa2 5,005
Kamala had a fantastic debate but that’s because nobody challenged her record. Bernie did decently well. No complaints. The rest failed

Whispering 18,865
Kamala owned this night. Tonight showed me that she is stage ready, prepared and is charismatic. Mayor Pete’s answers were articulate and intelligent. For being young, he certainly handles himself well on stage and in the interviews I’ve seen.
