That’s the trouble to work out. The claim to the land has not been made. The archdiocese owns and operates land in heir diocese however the land was left specifically to this group of nuns. So part of this court case is to settle who has legal right to sell the land.

Who actually want to live in old convent anyway, it's probably haunted too. Don't think Karly wanted that property as her main resident. Just what I learned from my dad, people love to invest in property and bonds as part of their future retirement plan.

I find it weird to buy something that was intended to be strictly religious for such a purpose. But I don't know much about religious places, especially how it works in the USA, so maybe I'm mistaken.

Oh it’s weird to me as well hahaha but the convent was first the home of this super wealthy guy and when he died he gave it to the nuns. So it wasn’t a strictly religious building in the first place.
