Tay, Bey and Rih biggest women in music as always, the Trinity

Poor P!nk, all those tour dates just to make less than Katy

I prefer the one whose last a #1 on the song and album charts weren't in 2016/2017.

Come back when any of these three ladies of your trinity can win an Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe and BAFTA for the same song in a year

Money can run out, but talent is forever

Entertainment accounting is a very tricky thing.

We have to remember that she's getting paid through Mermaid Touring Ltd., which she owns on 50/50 basis with her father.

All earnings are being split along the ownership lines which helps with the taxes.

Mermaid Touring has taken in much more per fiscal year being discussed, but her solo earnings only are on display.

Honestly if the Haus Laboratories is anything to go by, LG6 might smash. Maybe I’m being delusional but I can see it happening. The visuals are there and the sound is fresh without being too weird. It kind of sounds like the leaked Tinnitus instrumental so I’m here for it

Is the new Lion King OST eligible for a BAFTA in music? @BenG

If not, our Oscar-Grammy-Bafta-Globes quadfecta is safe.

"[...] The first taste of the project, a safe gospel-pop ballad called “Spirit,” doesn’t quite follow through on the international, genre-blending promises that she claims The Gift might offer."

“Spirit opens with two men singing in Swahili, a nod to the fact that Lion King characters hold names that originate in the East African language. These voices follow Beyoncé throughout, bridging choral traditions of Africa and the American South. But that’s where the song’s intrigue stops, as Bey starts singing lyrics that err on the side of meaningless. When she belts, 'Watch the light lift your heart up/Burn your flame through the night,' in the pre-chorus, her weighty, soulful voice does its best to carry one-note lyrics that fulfill the prompt of 'uplifting' and nothing else."

"It ultimately comes across like she’s gunning for her first-ever Oscar."

- Pitchfork about "Spirit". I couldn't agree more. :ally:

Do you think it's fair for Milionària to be only #51 in the Spanish charts?
