Guest
Neymar Jr has been accused of raping a woman on May 15th, but the Brazilian star categorically denied such accusations claiming they’re nothing but an attempt of extortion. The superstar opened up in his social media to clarify the situation and try to clean his public persona after being called out on Instagram by feminist activists. He has deleted the video on IG now but here's what he said : Spoiler “I’m being charged with rape. It’s a heavy word, it’s a very strong thing, but it’s what’s happening right now. I was taken by surprise. It was very bad, very sad to hear that. You know my character, you know what I mean, you know I would never do something like that. But I’ve been exposed to it and I’m here to make a face of it because I know that any news with my name involves a lot of things, it makes a very loud noise, and everybody keeps wanting my statement, and what happened was totally the opposite of what they say. From now on I will expose everything, I will expose all the conversation I had with the girl, all our moments, which are intimate, but it is necessary to be open, it is necessary to expose to prove that nothing really happened at all,” Neymar claimed. “What happened that day was a relationship between a man and a woman, within four walls,” the PSG player claimed. “Something happens with every couple, and the next day nothing happened. We kept chatting, she asked me for a souvenir for her son, and I was going to take it, and well… now I am surprised by these claims. It’s very bad, very sad. This not only hurts me, but as my whole family, because not only denigrating my image is bad, but what I am, who I am, the nature I have, the character I have,” he concluded. Shortly a video leaked of them in a hotel room. Najila Trindade Mendes de Souza, 26, who has waived her right to anonymity, was shown lying down on a hotel bed with the Brazilian footballer before lashing out at him. She said: “I’m going to hit you. Do you know why I'm going to hit you? Do you know why? Do you know why? “Because you assaulted me yesterday. You left me here alone.” Neymar, 27, was then seen kicking out in an attempt to ward off her blows before trying to restrain her. The footage emerged after Trindade gave an interview to Brazilian TV in which she said she was the victim of "aggression and rape" by the footballer who plays for French giants Paris Saint-Germain. She said the liaison started out as consensual but turned violent with Neymar refusing to stop when she told him to. Her lawyer Danilo Garcia de Andrade said the minute-long hotel clip was part of a much-longer seven-minute video she recorded in a bid to get evidence of Neymar's "aggression". Andrade said: “What she's told me is that she needed proof of that assault, that the slap was what Neymar had done to her previously and that she got him into the room again and filmed the scene.” Neymar has admitted meeting with Trindade but vehemently denies rape. He has said the encounter was consensual and he was the victim of a "set-up”. His dad Neymar Snr claimed the video showed his son had been tricked by Trindade. “I don't think I have to defend my son at all,” he said. “The images speak for themselves and it's clear this is a video that is forced. The video is only going to show that Neymar was assaulted. “She provokes an aggression so that he responds, but he realises that everything that was happening was a set-up. “When my son enters the room everything is already been filmed. It would be good for the investigation and for us that the whole video emerges. Brazilian police have launched a rape probe after Trindade reported the alleged attack earlier this month. She admitted she initially liked Neymar and wanted to have sex with him. He paid for a plane ticket to fly her from Brazil to Paris where he put her up in a hotel, she has claimed. But she alleged he was "aggressive – totally different than the boy that I got to know on the messages". After kissing and caressing she claimed he "started to hit me...then he began to hurt me a lot and I asked him to stop because it hurt". According to Trindade Neymar apologised but continued hurting her during sex. The footballer published a video stating he was the victim of entrapment. In the same video he posted intimate WhatsApp messages he said he had received from his accuser and photographs of her topless in a bed. One of phrases in the exchange was, "good morning, object of my libido" – which has become an online catchphrase across Brazil. But reports emerged yesterday that Ms Trindade has been dropped by her lawyer after he claims she changed her story. Her lawyer has told O Globo TV that she initially said that she had only been physically assaulted by the footballer. José Edgard da Cunha Bueno Filho said he only heard about the rape claim when she made it in a formal complaint to police on May 31. Mr Cunha Bueno Filho also said he advised her it would be better to strike a deal with Neymar’s legal team because a court case could be “long and drawn out”. But he had concerns that the woman wanted to make public a video she made when she visited the star for a second time. He told O Globo he was against what he described as the “bombshell measure” of releasing the video. The PSG forward uploaded a string of WhatsApp photos and messages from his alleged victim on Sunday in an attempt to suggest her allegations were a “set-up.” In the WhatsApp messages revealed by Neymar, the woman talks about going to the gym to make her bottom “perfect" for him. The pictures show the woman in her underwear and wearing a bikini and as the pair appear to exchange messages. But his bid to clear his name appears to have caused him fresh problems as Neymar could be jailed for releasing these X-rated pictures. Cops confirmed they launched a probe into his publication of the sensitive material. Local reports suggest Neymar could be jailed for between one to five years, if he is found guilty of infringing laws designed to protect people from being filmed or pictured without their consent in material of a sexual nature. This video was leaked, we don't know who filmed it and what context it is but from her saying "after what you did to me" I assume it is after the "rape" . But it would make more sense that she is the one who filmed this (obviously they were the only ones in the hotel room) attempting to get him to hit her back so she could edit the video and use as evidence

sampool 5,560
Sorry but I don’t buy it, in the video he was clearly the submissive one by taking her punches without fighting back. Her claiming that he “raped” her just the day before doesn’t add up. If he was able to force her to engage in sexual act ‘yesterday’, he would’ve been able to hold her down, but he didn’t.
