Angelm 8,655
Gaga will be in history books. She’s an staple on music and pop culture, she has made a huge impact. She’s a classic, a timeless artist, so... forever
Guest
I guess for people who will study music history she might be mentioned in a few sentences here and there?
andreas85 400
I voted 2020-2059. Seriously, nobody will remember her after 100 years. How many popular singers from the 1910s average people know nowadays? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Dukttape 1,437
Doctor Who already predicted Toxic to be the future anthem of Earth at its end in the year 2 billion (or whatever, I haven't watched that episode for like 3 years), but that was pre-Bad Romance, and I consider them equals soooooo... I guess we'll see, Rose Tyler.
sarahb 16,612
Why are some people voting the first option? By 2059 she'll be Cher's current age. Do you feel him sir?

But don't @ me unless you can list me your favorite performers from the 19th century Maybe I feel like u have to be one of the highlights of the century to be remembered hundreds of years later tbh Just like bethooven and Barch and Mozart (I can't remember how to spell their names properly) were music highlights of the century... Just like Einstein and Isac Newton were highlight scientists of their centuries.... And just like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson were highlight entertainers if their century.... I think Gaga will need to be the highlight of this era too in order to be remembered If she's not the biggest over these first decades of the 2000s in general she will only be remembered as long as children of parents who were around during Gaga's years are alive That would take the generational overlap to maybe the early to mid 2100s after that no one would know Gaga Unless again she is the highlight of this century

If ur an extreme standout it's possible Most ppl have heard of Mozart, Beethoven and Barch But it's only the extreme highlights of an era in entertainment that are Remembered for hundreds of years Same with scientists or philosopher's Kings and politicians too like Cleopatra, Alaxander the great and Hitler (for terrible reasons)
gypsy101 5,453
this question really only can be answered if THE WORLD EVEN EXISTS IN THE FUTURE. thanks to global warming i’m not too sure the planet will be around. but if the world is still around i think she’ll be remembered at least til the 2070’s or so

I only put that to have as a voting option but I don't think that's realistic Ppl that are exposed to Gaga now will still be alive in 2059 so she can't be totally forgotten even if she's no longer relevant The bigger question is will she be big enough for our children or grandchildren who aren't exposed to Gaga to know about her? She has to be major enough for us to tell our children about her... Just like our grandparents Remember Elvis and the Beatles and talk to us about them

The ecosystem would have to be damaged to an extremely high level that even basic plants and bugs die off for us to be completely gone Humans are the only species (besides bacteria) that exist in all continents (minus Antarctica) because our technology and knowledge let's us survive in completely different climates Most animals cannot do that
gumzy3000 7,318
It will be interesting to see how history talks about pop culture. Like Mozart and Beethoven are talked about now but we honestly can not compare their legacy to how Gaga’s legacy might be. Music now is so global, so varied that I really have no clue how it will be talked about in 200-300 years. trolly troll troll
