Half of the country doesn't agree with him, and most US politicians don't either. China is not the angel in this situation either. The country has struggled to even treat it's own people humanely for decades.

The U.S. itself a place of freedom with a non-Communist government that doesn't pollute the world even 10% as bad as China does. For as bad as U.S. politicians are, they're Joffrey compared to China's Ramsey Bolton. The Communist Party of China has done some pretty monstrous things to its own people. Trump = stupid ego that'll be gone in a few years. Chinese government = actual evil that stays in power

What they are doing to Muslim Chinese, Turkic Ughuys, Tibetans and Christian Chinese is disgusting and so sad. 11 hours ago, jprince99x said: We’re gonna be ****ing broke. His trade war thing has literally put our American companies out of business. China doesn’t ****ing need us! We need them! He just needs to make sure they aren’t doing us dirty then leave it the **** alone. Yeah China could easily substitute the US with tons of other countries where as the US will have a VERY hard time finding a replacement as big and efficient as China. Off topic: it seems like this China vs US narrative in regards to economy is going to be what weakens or strengthens American Imperialism around the world. If China wins this long trade war I think we are going to see a major power tilting that will favor China as the new leading country but if the US somehow wins this trade and economical "war" it will strengthen its position as the ultimate major international player around the world. It is very interesting to observe but also pretty scary. I think a lot of us don't get just how important and meaningful the current China vs US economical trade war is. It will literally be what dictates to us who the next super power is for the centuries ahead.

China loves to give the USA money, because the USA's economy consumes a lot of Chinese products. If the USA's economy falls, China and all of Europe will collapse. It's a weird relationship. Lend the US money for them to run deficits and recapitalize their economy (which trade deficits depleate of) so they can purchase their excess production Anyway if China stopped lending, the bonds would still find other investors. The Global Bond market is very large and competitive and a lot of money flows between nations and investors The portion of financing that comes from China doesn't have to come from China. The US has the second highest credit rating (AA+) and the reserve currency, it would have no issue selling it's bonds to others to fill in any gap China no longer fills But when it comes to trade to buy your products that's not as easy to just trade around like financial markets So China needs the US more than the US needs China tbh @jprince99x

Sorry but I think ur first statement is totally wrong The US relies on China mainly for financing as the important thing. That's super easy to change hands. Within days or weeks the Global market would adjust and compensate for that China would need to change hundreds of billions worth of exports. That would take years. China still needs the US relationship more than the US needs a relationship with China For the US China is just cheap products like it is for other developed nations. But even in that they are starting to loose competitiveness due to rising wages in China and growing middle class Countries like Bangladesh, India and Taiwan are slowly starting to take over the cheap manufacturing while China's manufacturing has been stalling the last few years The 6% annual economic growth China still gets is mostly consumption in retail and service sector... Industrial exports are growing very slowly there now
