...why it seems that Gaga is lip syncing during her performance of Poker Face in Dubai? We all know that Gaga never lip syncs during her shows and never would unless there was a genuine, unavoidable reason to, so I want to make it clear that I am not criticizing her at all! However, it seems to me that many parts of Poker Face during the Dubai artRAVE are lip synced, especially the bridge (0:55)

Knowing Gaga, there is a genuine reason for her to be lip syncing, so I’m curious if any of you know what may have been going on? I think it’s also important to note that this is the only artRAVE (to my knowledge) where she left the stage before Telephone, which can be seen 6 minutes into this video:

My guess is that perhaps she was nauseous and not feeling well, which would explain her leaving the stage early. Again, I love Gaga and am not judging or hating, she is one of the most authentic performers out there. I’m just curious, do any of you know more about this performance?

also I knew Gaga needed to go to drink water and take a break several times because it was too hot and the show was outdoors.

I think the audio's out of sync, and her voice at 0:27 sounds quite genuine. Unless she was lip syncing at times and singing at others.

at first I was like are we watching the same video?? but during the "I won't tell you" it for sureee seems like lipsyncing lmao

Yeah, I originally though it was a mic problem, but then I heard her speaking to the crowd and telling them to put their hands up. The heat thing is definitely a possibility though, I know it’s common for people to feel ill in the heat.

That’s my guess. She was probably struggling but still trying to get through it, which deserves some respect

She lipsynced a lot during artrave. No shade but it did happen.

I think even the chorus is lip synced in this video I'm not gonna lie. 

I honestly don't care because 1. I know she can sing. 2. she's visibly unwell (sweating/shaking/not dancing fully) 3. she's Lady Gaga - if she feels its necessary to do it, she can. Even if she calls out people for lip syncing because in the bigger picture they do it constantly for almost every performance as appose to her doing it during a song once in a blue moon because she's not feeling great.

Her fibro could have also been playing up due to the change in weather.

To everyone saying audio issues?? Delay in the video??? Nah, not really. She clearly used a lot of backing tracks.

She did this a lot too during BTWB & I guess the artRAVE however it wasn't as bad. Her mic is still on and she's singing a certain harmony, not necessarily the main.. which I guess is her sort of justifying her not really lip-syncing. It's so she can just have a less demanding strain on her voice during 1 song so she can perform for longer.

I heard someone say once that during filming of Heal Me in ASIB (where it's obviously Ally lip syncing), Gaga herself apologised to everyone and said she doesn't normally do this and to not think bad of her.

I dunno, it's not the biggest deal in the world in context.

When artists do it for the sake of it during huge performances, that, Gaga has an issue with.

Exactly. She’s not feeling well and is struggling to get through the performance, but I know for a fact she would never do it just for the sake of it or because it’s too difficult to sing and dance at the same time, which is most artist’s reasoning. If she possibly can sing live in that moment she will.
