I don't believe it's beneficial to hate on our (mostly) capitalist system without providing a clear and convincing counterargument. AOC has provided a concise counterargument many times, of course, but it doesn't appear she wants to do away entirely with our free market system either. I think AOC would be better off if she snagged headlines for her incredible policy ideas that restrict (but clearly don't abolish) our predominately capitalist system.Ā Sidenote: Yes, increasing taxes on the wealthy and distributing that tax moneyĀ to the indigent DOES work. Itās the easiest thing forĀ them to do. They did it to Obama and he never even called himself a democratic socialist. Heās a straight up neoliberal.Ā Its boring.
