Let’s not forget about the racist ebola scandals, lied on live television Ellen Show, manipulated his viral pictures when he got famous/ it was a set up.

"Straight" guys are constantly slipping and sliding into my DMs (without being provoked), and I love it

I don't really have anything of value to add to this conversation except that straight guys hit me up all the time

I really don't like taking sides on this whole thing because I think all of this "drama" is so petty and overreactive. The beauty community has largely become a joke. This is way too much drama for a bunch of guys and girls putting makeup on their face for an hour for a YouTube video.  Even though Tati brought up some good points in her video, I don't necessarily feel bad for her. I'm not sure that says about me, as a person, but again, I just find a lot of this "drama" so overreactive and completely, 100%, preventable.

As for the whole situation with James hitting on straight boys...Look, at the end of the day, James constantly looking for straight boys is wrong and just so weird/abnormal. Like, just look for a masculine gay boy if you want, there's no need to try and "convert" straight guys for a night or two. 

That being said, I do agree with some members here that some of this stuff is preventable. I'm not going to pretend that I know every single "receipt" or anything, but from what I've seen, it almost looks like these guys are actively engaged with James. Don't get me wrong, again, at the end of the day, what James is doing is wrong, but at the same time, from the supposed texts I've seen and everything, it's not like these guys are completely against what James has been doing.

But you know what doesn't add up here? Bi-curiosity is real. It is the bridge between sexual realisation. But, as many of us will know from crossing that bridge, it is a time of questioning, a time of insular reflection and often a time of confusion, shame and doubt. It isn't (at least, conventionally) a time when you fly from city-to-city to stay in hotel rooms with one of pop culture's most notorious gay guys. It's not exactly discreet is it? And remember, discretion is inherently coupled with bi-curiosity by it's very nature. 

James Charles is not a very nice person. He is self-entitled, obnoxious and definitely a very expectant - sexually - kind of guy. But come on, put yourself in his shoes. All these guys running around him, messaging him, using him, appreciating his flattery - and then, when he takes the bait, he's left hanging. 

I also think it's incredibly convenient how /all/ of these guys are bi-curious... yet, within LITERAL days of meeting James, have come to the miraculous conclusion that they are, 'with certainty', straight. Man, we all know  it doesn't work like that. Sexuality is fluid and isn't defined by ONE experience with ONE person of the same sex. If these guys were seriously bi-curious, they would learn from the James experience and perhaps look for someone 'less' flamboyant to really assert their attractions.

Again, let me be clear: I am not justifying James' actions - many of which have been absolutely horrendous. But that doesn't mean to say that this constant influx of pretty straight boys should be free from debate. These guys are absolutely clout-chasing, and are using the downfall of a queer guy to raise their own profile. It's absolutely horrific and inhumane... perhaps even more so than what James has done. 

This is not how the world should be. Someone does wrong, fine - they face the consequences. But people shouldn't be capitalising on someone's downfall. This kid is going to end up killing himself. And the irony in it all is that a lot of the perpetrators of this hate, are the kind of people to preach 'kindness' and 'mental health awareness'.

Man, we live in a fake, fake world.

He literally said he DMed him first and he literally showed how James apologized for being rude to him or being too much and some people in here are still saying James used him when it’s the other way around.

Want to seriously know how to tell for sure if they're clout-chasing? Just wait, they'll probably upload a follow-up video to the one they first posted, then they'll start uploading their own content. Thats when you know they're using James' platform to make themselves famous.

That waiter guy, he uploaded ONE video recently and already has almost 2K subs. And Gage Gomez, the one that went to Coachella w James uploaded a first video related to James, followed by a follow-up video basically all about James and now has almost 60K subs. Watch them upload more stuff, about themselves, give it a few weeks. 

I will be completely honest, I cannot stand James Charles, he has given me the sh*ts for like a year or two now, but I can definitely see some over exaggeration in this story, especially Tati's video. While I believe she was being honest... majority of the time, there was the part where she said she was speaking to James in the kitchen about his behaviour. First she said she had the convo with him on the phone, then she switched it to "the kitchen", then she said the convo happened at her birthday, on the same day he was stalking that waiter. It just doesn't add up.
