You have nothing to worry about! No one will even know you're there alone unless you tell them :) I Ubered everywhere by myself when I was in Vegas in January and had no problem with that, either.

My name isn't Timmers

I totally understand where you're coming from. It's scary to be a big city alone for the first time. I have major anxiety about these things too (and we're the same age) so I sympathize. Vegas is busy and does have crime but it's nothing to get too hung up on, you're safer than you think. Bring very little to the concert with you (only necessities), use your street smarts, follow your gut, and your concern is already a sign that you're well aware of your surroundings. I've taken Uber and Lyft as a young woman alone and never had an issue. Don't let your worries prevent you from enjoying Enigma and having a great time, have FUN!

I mean, the drivers I met through Lyft were pretty friendly, so if the transportation is something you're worried about, don't. There are many people who will chat you up along the way.

I did meet one d*ck taxi driver though, I think he was pissed that I didn't tip him enough, he had an atrocious attitude, but most of the Lyft drivers were pretty great.

Vegas really isn’t as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. There’s security everywhere, plus the line for enigma is inside of a very nice casino. You’ll be fine, especially if you’re 21! That means you can stand around with a drink and blend in with everyone. I went to Britney Piece of Me when I was 18 and that was a little trickier blending into the hotels and everything.

Yeah I agree with everyone else I definitely noticed how safe I felt walking along the Vegas strip. Basically the opposite to how I felt walking through Hollywood :selena:

You’ll be 100% safe!! I’m 19 and I went with my 21 year old cousin and we didn’t feel unsafe at all. The strip is actually really clean and the mgm is a really nice venue and there’s security everywhere!

This. Literally all of this.

I am 28 and suffer from anxiety/ptsd/ocd amongst other things, and it's damn near impossible for me to go alone to things. I understand, truly. My best advice is to ask if your friend can come with you to the venue/ meet you at the venue after the show is over. It helps me when I go to shows, especially having someone there when it's over. There's a comfort in knowing someone you know and trust will be there waiting at a specific time. Plus, you won't be waiting outside. As far as I'm aware, you'll be waiting inside the hotel/casino (I've not gone to ENIGMA, so I can't say for certain, but it seems that way from what others have said), which is A LOT more relaxed/ fun of an atmosphere. I saw the JWT in a casino/hotel and it was a very, very relaxed, fun, calm atmosphere for me. SO much better than other Gaga shows I've been to with waiting outside and whatnot.  I think once you get there you will feel a lot better too.

Please try to have the time of your life. I don't know if you've been to a Gaga show before, but it is like an experience from another dimension. It's so freeing and fun. It's an amazing time. We support you here and if you need anything, DM!

As long as you stay on the Vegas strip and don't venture out of it, especially at night, you will be completely fine.

Don’t worry I had a that feeling when I was younger attending TMB 1.0

Vegas can be quite intimidating for some people due the town’s history but it’s not that bad as other cities. If you stay on the Strip you’ll be fine.

If anything find a few GGD people and link up with them. Attend Enigma early and meet cool people.

I’m going with a few friends June 1 if your going that day.

Just being alone in

Just being alone in Vegas, it’s not the safest place in the world, you know?

Vegas is the safest place in the world tho...you can’t even pick your nose without getting caught on a security camera or a cop/security asking what you are doing.

I think your mom has made your paranoid.

I’m blonde, I’m skinny, I’m rich and I’m a little bit of a bitch

Hey. I resonate with this post also! I’m not really scared just nervous. The gag is I also have OCD, but you best know we’re not going to let that get in the way from us seeing our Queen! I’m also going alone to the show and alone  in general. I’m coming all the way from Canada by myself to see her. You’ll be fine! And hopefully me to. What day are you going?

You should have no problem with getting in the Uber with the correct license plate and car color and getting out right by the door. I've never had any crime trouble in Vegas. It's made for tourists to have fun. But I always still do take some caution. Wear a slim money pouch under your clothes so a pick pocket can't get it all. I assume you will want to walk around the strip with your friend ... You may see loitering on the walk-over bridges. They always ignore people. Some people dress up in costume and offer to take pictures with them for a price. Get the price set before any picture taking. Someone on a sidewalk will try to hand you discount coupons for off-strip nude clubs. You don't have to touch anything anyone holds out to you. Just enjoy it!
