Omg guys, we have our very own GGD Vigilante, here to make everything right one by one calm down, Batman The last 2 major releases got bashed to hell here because they were, "generic." StrawberryBlond 14,589 Posted May 11, 2019 Share Posted May 11, 2019 Folks, it's official - the songwriting credits have been amended after it was pointed out that the song sounded a lot like the Cheryl song, I Don't Care (obvious title is obvious!) I noticed the similarity immediately when I heard it, I just forgot to say at the time but there were people pointing it out afterwards. But I didn't think it would actually lead to anything. But no, the credits have now got Jocke Ahlund, Bonnie McKee, John Newman and Cheryl Tweedy on them as the similarity is that obvious. Sure, Cheryl's song was a one-week #1 in the UK before streaming became huge which is long forgotten now but stealing is still stealing: Remember, this is one of several plagiarism scandals Ed's been caught up in.
