"Metamorphosis"- The meaning behind Gaga’s Met Gala performance

Guys, I was thinking about the meaning of her Met Gala looks and performance and maybe it’s all about Metamorphosis. First she has multiple layers of dresses, she’s a caterpillar in her cocoon and step by step she’s turning into a butterfly. At the end she finally becomes a butterfly and free herself taking off her cocoon. And that’s her pose: 

Also, she wore this necklace:

And IF this performance has to to something with her next era, it fits perfectly with the concept of "rebirth", "A Star is Born This Way". And Gaga used these emojis a lot:🧚🏼‍♀️ 🦋

totally agree! also it ties into the whole "GAGA" aspect (because we basically know the record is gonna be called that) cuz through all her eras, she has evolved and discovered who "gaga" (not Stefani) really is and now she has finally fulfilled this journey

I don't get the obsession with the metamorphosis idea, every era it's popping up..
