Jeppe Laursen being the sole co-writer of Born This Way the single? He only has credits in another song (Bad Kid) but I can't recall seeing her ever working with him. Also he's only credited for Eurovision songs and BTW.

I'm sure there's an interesting history behind. I wonder if Gaga sampled a couple of her beats and had to give him credits.

I don't know a lot about it personally, but I was able to find this interview with him. 

"Together with Lady Gaga, the Dane has written "Born This Way", which is one of two tracks he has on her new album. The collaboration came about through Gaga's former creative director Matt Williams, whom Jeppe had met at an art exhibition. Jeppe was subsequently allowed to remix the Gaga song "Dance In The Dark", and in February 2010 she used the remix for the Brit Awards in a tribute to the designer Alexander McQueen, who was dead five days before.

During the same period, she was preparing for the second half of The Monster Ball Tour, where she needed a 90s inspired techno opera track. Jeppe recorded some homemade opera in his basement, and the result was used on the tour as underlaying some of the show's breaks. When she was about to start the new record she called to hear if he had any music lying around. Jeppe sent four tracks where she ended up using two, "Born This Way" and "Bad Kids".
