Lighter 15,376
By the fact that Gaga wrote Princess Die? It’s literally a suicide note. It’s so unsettling.

weed 73,717
no... she hit a low point, I've hit a point where I've for sure considered suicide, it's personal and deep. you have your feelings, I don't blame you, but I think it's sad, makes me want to hug her
Tom Nook 37,807
I wanna know is what was the context and inspiration when she wrote “trigger” Uh Red Wine... Convict... Gah Gah...
FATCAT 59,992
She is a song writer, I'm sure she's written much more dark and twisted songs that have never seen the light of day (a la Trigger), so no. I care for her deeply, and don't want for her to be in pain, but I'm not surprised, I've had dark thoughts like that too. GagaUnderYou 4,981
It's still ART. Would have loved to hear the studio version of it. She seemed to be in a dark place then.
Seeka 12,372
No. There's plenty of artist's who've written suicide songs. Not to mention Gaga is a metal head, and metal is naturally dark. 37 minutes ago, Gardevoir said: I wanna know is what was the context and inspiration when she wrote “trigger” Same. LaLa 19,638
Looking back at that time period sometimes I really do think it's a miracle she made it out at all. And look at her now. I'm so proud of her

GypsyBabe 22,836
One of the best songs she's ever written and yes, it is very disturbing and upsetting to think that those feeling were in her mind. Trigger is also very disturbing and one of my favorite unreleased songs of hers. ⚯͛

Umm I don’t know if it’s appropriate for me to suggest this situation of the song but... the lyrics look like it’s pertaining to the moment she was being raped and held under her will

The song sounds beautiful (for lack of a better term) and haunting nonetheless. ⚯͛

Fresco 1,688
It's so disturbing. I'm so glad she moved on from this and these thoughts and never released a studio version. If she can't sing dope at a concert, I couldn't imagine her singing this, without being carted off to see a therapist. I wonder if the people at the Vienna concert even understood the English words. Unrelated thoughts, I was reading about the side effects of molly, MDMA, ecstasy. It uses up all the serotonin, then there is none for days. Massive happiness and then none for days just sounds so depressing.
