BTW video flopped for a 6 week running #1 on billboard. Judas On The other hand had a greater debut and longevity of views

MR suffered from views from Dec 2016 - Nov 2017 but picked up and ASIB helped it too

how many (not fans!) are willing to watch a whole 15 minute video over and over again to hear 3 minutes of music? fans and the ones who are interessted in the art.

you have to make a video the people want to see over and over again because of the music AND to explore new things in it everytime (bad romance).

if you make a video people watch 3 times and still dont have any clue what the hell is going on and cant figure out whats happening - they will stop watching it again and propably not even give the next video a shot. that happened with gagas videos in the past.

not everyone is willing to read 50 interviews to find out what its about, people only feel stupid themself if they cant figure out anything after the 3.rd replay.

 

for fans all her videos have a certrain something but not everyone has the background information to understand it. u can go both ways... deliver beautifuly visuals nobody has to think about whats going on (sexy blonde dancing at the beach) or you put a lot of effort in a video and tell a story the way people can decode it themself and thats what gagas videos is missing at some point.
