Other than Beyonce I don't think Gaga ever collaborated with a top artist. Maybe Colby Odonis too? I don't remember how big he was ornifnhe was big at all

 

Gaga has proven she doesn't go around featuring artists just to slap a big name and chart, if she chooses to do it now, I see no issue

Well as I said in my edit though, even if she collaborates with a top 40 peer theres more interesting musical characters to choose from than cardi. Beyonce was and is a more creative and intriguing choice. Lowkey, cardi has lost her steam anyway. Her working with cardi on a track will have as much hit probability as when britney collaborated with iggy azalea in 2015 after she'd already peaked.
