The Sanders socialist label doesn't play well everywhere. His registered party is independent in the senate race and democrat in the presidential race.   He shouldn't get democrat campaign funds unless he is a democrat in both races.

He's still agile minded now, but really too old to be running. 77 now, 83 by the end of 1 term. 87 by the end of a second term.

I very much prefer another candidate  over Sanders. A younger and very experienced woman, 3 term senator, Amy Klobuchar.

What people fail to realize here, is that the DNC is planning to attack Bernie, provoke him & his loyal support, because they're afraid that he has a leg up rn & might attack the candidates they like. I'm sorry, that's the dumbest thing you do rn. Get Bernie & his team in a room & explain that the last thing we need is in-fighting and try to keep it as civil as possible. Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million votes, the polls were actually pretty accurate, it just that the electoral college made 30,000 votes in various states worth more.

IF there was a good alternative to Bernie, I would want them. But there isn’t. Kamala is being funded by those who funded Hillary. Beto is getting love from Obama bundlers. And Pete, is evidently conspiring with the likes of Nancy & Chuck which means he is no friend of progressives. 

I adore Liz Warren but she isn’t going to beat Trump. She doesn’t have a proven record of going against Trump and winning and she doesn’t have political capital to spend for a general election. 

The fact that all of you are plain ignoring Tulsi Gabbard when she’s the next best candidate to Bernie is also sad. I’d root for her but she’s clearly getting the media blackout & has no winning chance—even though she could with the right exposure. 

 

And finally. Hillary needs to take responsibility for her loss. It was her election to lose. She didn’t even campaign in Wisconsin. She pulled out and quit campaigning in Michigan too fast. Her and her campaign were arrogant and it blew up in her face. And Bernie did more than Clinton did for Obama in terms of campaigning in the general on behalf of their opponent. The fact that Hillary was a bad candidate is why she lost. Not only that but the people who voted for Hillary over Bernie are also responsible because the evidence is clear that Bernie would win the states that cost Hillary the 2016 election.

But how many of those polls give you a clear breakdown of the demographics? Hardly any of them. You have to actually read the poll methodology and demographics before you decide a poll makes sense or not.

 

Thats why the democratic primary polling is wrong and has Biden @#1. Example: a recent CNN “national” poll didn’t have people under the age of 50 represented. This fact was hidden on page 43 of a 49 page PDF of the methodology. The poll had Biden up by 8 points. Well of course it did because Biden does excellently with voters over 50 where as Bernie is best with voters under 40. So you have to look at an individual poll at the granular level before making conclusions.

No, it's because the DNC screwed America out of a great progressive Democratic candidate (Bernie Sanders) in favor of a moderate neoliberal (Hillary Clinton). She was already hated enough, and her platitude campaign didn't work. She tried twice, and failed twice. She should have recognized her low chances of beating Donald Trump in 2016. 

Julian Assange and WikiLeaks leaked classified government documents and e-mails proving that the DNC swayed the candidacy towards Clinton. I say you're wrong. Trump won because of Hillary's own choice to run, the DNC election meddling, and Trump's promise to help the working people of America (which he has not done, and which Hillary Clinton's voting record proves she would not have done).

Also, why do you think Bernie is leading national polls over Trump, even on FOX news (i'm unsure of methodology)? Bernie is having the most successful campaign out of ALL candidates currently. It's interesting though, because Republican's (not the billionaires everyone sees on TV, but actual struggling Americans) WILL vote for Bernie Sanders or anyone who has shown a long-standing progressive record, such as Tulsi Gabbard or Elizabeth Warren. For example, my dad voted Republican most of his life,  loves Bernie Sanders, and admitted his preference for him over other candidates. That is the same trick Trump pulled, masking his corporate greed with his pseudo-progressive campaign, except it's not a trick with the three candidates I listed. Bernie, Tulsi, and Elizabeth all have the record and potential to sway many Republican voters.

In my opinion, if we get Beto (centrist who has no policies pinned to his campaign yet and obviously took PAC money in bundles), Biden (horrendous centrist record), or Buttigieg (where's the policy?), Trump will be President again.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot Kamala Harris (but I always forget about her )

I agree with everything you said except for the fact that I would gladly vote for Tulsi Gabbard over Bernie Sanders if given the choice. I feel like I will end up voting for Bernie over Gabbard though because of his recognition, it all depends on how the debates go. I too am wary of how Elizabeth Warren would fare against Trump.

I totally understand that. My preference to Bernie is more or less on an emotional level when I compare him to Tulsi. I think Tulsi could benefit from making her points more quickly. While she’s articulate and thoughtful (and almost always right on the issues), she does at times take too long to make a point. But other than that, the only other reason to support Bernie over her is just that he has the infrastructure and momentum to win this time whereas I feel Tulsi’s campaign can’t steal enough air in the room. And that has more to do with the situation than it does Tulsi or her merits as a candidate. I really want her as either VP or Secretary of State as part of a Bernie administration.
