The main assumption about the DNC is correct. They will stack the deck against Bernie. It's just how politics work. Many Dems don't consider Bernie a Democrat. That's probably because he doesn't caucus with them. Go figure.

I don't dislike Bernie, but it's frustrating how he goes after Democrats but isn't actually one and has somehow managed to become the progressive figurehead while Barbara Lee, etc. (who are just as progressive and Democrats) have accomplished more. I look at Pramila Jayapal, Barbara Lee, etc.—women who are just as progressive, if not more progressive than Bernie, and they manage to push progressive causes, criticize the Democratic party but work within it to fix the issues, and so on. They do all of this without trashing the Democratic party 24/7 or calling everyone corrupt.

I guess I'm just upset at everyone lol.

I agree. He rails against the Democratic Party all the while with his hands out gladly taking their money. Kinda hypocritical to me.

That's a bad attitude.

Politicians like Bernie Sanders, AOC, Warren are the future of the Democratic party and what the US desperately needs for the long run.

I can only hope most Americans agree.

Actually, Bernie is the factor why Trump were elected.

The last election were a shxtshow overall, BUT

If not for Bernie and his socialist agenda, the Republicans won't ever go HAM on their rhetoric and would have voted another person.

SO, it is y'all who need to get ready for another 4 years of Trump with y'all Bernie touting.

Sanders is the most progressive, has the best record, is the most popular politician in America and has already said he wants to pick a younger woman to be his VP. Voting for someone else for something as arbitrary as their age only helps Trump. Bernie’s our best chance to win.

I don't think he's the Dems best chance because he will alienate many progressive leaning centrists.

Bernie and Biden are at the bottom of my list. I dislike them both, though I dislike Bernard much more.

I'm all about Pete, Kamala, Liz, and Amy. Beto is too much show, too little action. He reminds me of Justin Trudeau.

This is absolutely false. The GOP started becoming more extreme in their rhetoric around 2008-2009 with the Tea Party movement.

A Republican winning after 8 years of a  Democratic president is something that is usually expected.

The fact it occurred isn’t an anomaly or something that is exclusively the consequence of one factor.

However, the extreme socialism stuffs that is pretty much foreign to Americans  gave Trump an opening to provoke the grass roots crowds and he did it well.

Yes. Someone else who wants both Bernie and Biden to sit this out.  We have an excellent array of progressive to center-left candidates (and ugh, even centrists). I don't even mind Bernie and Biden (I have issues with both, but I don't dislike them like some do), but both just have too much baggage and I also think they are just too old.

Hillary was the nominee. Trump won for many reasons and placing the blame on Bernie Sanders is intellectually dishonest.

He’s just a scapegoat Democrats will use because they refuse to admit they screwed up in 2016.

We lost for numerous reasons, ranging from the DNC f*cking up, Wikileaks, the media giving Trump a blowjob 24/7 in terms of coverage, NYT running articles based off Bannon's Clinton Cash BS, Hillary's campaign making some major mistakes, and yes, Bernie's campaign making some major mistakes.

But neither that Hillary nor Bernie people (or the DNC) seem to want to admit that everyone f*cked up, badly. And that's a big issue imo. It seems like all sides are hesitant to admit their wrongs and work together and just want to keep rehashing everything.

I like a lot of candidates tbh, but I'm being drawn more to Liz in part because she and Julian seem to be some of the few staying out of this stupid infighting that is just damaging the entire party.

You can't blame it on him. Hillary was corrupt, and a bad candidate.
