Trump raises $30 Million for re-election campaign

Featured Posts

Sad that they’re going to have to spend nearly 1 billion in ads calling the dem nominee a socialist with the hopes to win. So long as older democrats quit bitching about Biden, we will still win. Otherwise, i hope my 30s are better than my 20s.

That part's gonna be slightly tough with messy the electoral college and gerrymandering are :awkney: Hoping for the best.

We've had enough of Trump. He's already done enough horrible stuff. How some on GGD of all places support him is...

Well he's under 50% by double digits in approval polls in a lot of the swing states that won it for him. I just hope they don't heel turn when it matters most.

Sadly he’s gonna get re-elected purely on the (rather childish) grounds that y’all had two terms of a Democrat last time, and Republicans are babies so they’d make sure he gets another term.

BUT! on the bright side if he is, y’all will o my have to power through 4 years and then you’ll probably end up with a Democrat again.

It always swings back and forth but I'm hoping Trump threw enough of a wrench into the system that the GOP will lose the white house and senate in 2020.

Dems and left leaning independents (and even Republicans with common sense) are pretty determined to see him be a one term president at best.

Ah, the "just as bad" argument. Nope. More Centrist Dem candidates are corporate owned yes, but not people like Bernie Sanders who represent quite the opposite of what corporations want. That's why WaPost doesn't like him either (owned by the CEO of amazon).

And even a corporate owned Democrat is better than a republican any day of the week because at least 1. They support regulation 2. They won't actively harm like Republicans are 3. They don't hate minorities

Whats wrong with the "just as bad" argument? pointing out that these candidates are funded by the same corporation and wall street is not a bad argument. And yes obviously you prefer corporate democrats because YOU ARE A DEMOCRAT!

Bernie is a Hilary supporter so.. he supported a wall street corporate warmongerer because he feared the orange boogieman in the white house but the real boogieman is the one he told us to vote for! He is a sellout shill that is a failed leader. The only reason why progressives still support him is because he is the only chance they have to win.

Its Trump 2020 trust me

No, that’s just painfully ignorant. Dems have many ideas, but unfortunately Reps play deaf whenever they hear about new ideas. Which in not surprised about considering they still don’t have a new healthcare plan 10 years later...

Trump isn’t a victim and if so it only plays into the idea that his supporters are indeed racist, homophobic, xenophobic, sexist, etc considering they never seem to want to support actual victims in our country.

If y’all can’t see the facts of why Trump is ironically the worst thing for Reps then y’all deserve him.

Trans people deserve better. Reps deserve better than a draft dodging moron.

I did not say Trump is a victim and I am not a republican so what are you talking about? and democrats do not support victims anywhere specially foreign victims of illegal wars, drones, and terrorism, but dont you dare misgender  a trans person!!

So you are saying Democrats have bad ideas because Republicans play deaf? well they oppose each other so obviously they will ignore democrats whats ur point?

These numbers mean nothing. Tons of donors are holding out to see who's the most viable democratic candidate.

Incorrect. I don't care about party. I care about the platform. I would prefer a corporate democrat to a corporate Republican, especially Trump, for many reasons I have listed already including the Republican hatred of minorities.

You're not making sense. Bernie endorsed Hillary because he saw a threat, Trump. It's not a boogey-man, don't be thick. Trump really is bad. The moral thing to do is to pick the lesser of the two evils which Bernie tried to do. Once he lost the nomination, if his supporters didn't vote for Hillary, the country was gonna end up with Trump which it did which is much worse than with Hillary.

As opposed to the great Trump who has only been bankrupt, how many, 4 times, now? So much for failure. Bernie did the right thing by endorsing Hillary once he lost the nomination. Trump is a corporate shill who pretends he's not.

They do, actually. Nobody was in favor of war. Not anymore. One of the worst things about the Obama presidency was the drone attacks that were part of counter-terrorism.

You really care about foreign victims? Aren't Trump supporters the one who shout "America first" the loudest? Where's your sympathy when destitute foreigners ask for asylum?

I dont play the "better of two evil" game and I dont see how putting a evil person in power is a moral thing! What is the point of democracy if you vote for the better of two evils? Republicans voted for someone they love while democrats were bullied, guilted, attacked, and smeared to vote for someone they all hated.

The better of two evils only work short term but long term and the best case scenario is you will end up with someone you were forced to vote for. Voting for the right person will help all Americans, yes you might not win now but you will win next election and America will change. Voting for the better of two evils will keep corporates in power forever and its what they want you to do. Republicans and Democrats are funded by the same corporate and they all work and serve the same people. So stop playing in the game and role they designed for you to play and keep them in power and be a true progressive.

But if you want to play the "better of two evil" game, the truth is Trump is the better of two evils easily. I hate Trump so I dont know why you are talking to me like im a Trump supporter? but please explain to me how is Hilary better than Trump? Please explained why Bernie thought Trump was worse?

When you have a demagogue like Trump, yes, it's necessary to play this game. For the short term, yes. This is not just any election. This was a very particular issue. If this were, for example, Hillary vs Mitt Romney, I woudn't care. Trump is a whole other thing.

flavor of love wtf GIF

No point arguing with you, sis. We disagree fundamentally. If it's not obvious to you why Trump is much worse and devastating for numerous groups, yeah, I don't think any explanation would help you.

Whispering

Democratic dononations are split between several people right now.

When the general gets here, they both will need a billion dollars to compete. (Yes, the Democratic nominee will need to take big donors in the general to beat the racist in office.)
