I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere his family advocated for this. Not everything needs to be dark and morbid to be respectful. And the fact that the proceeds are going to a foundation trying to prevent suicides from mental illness shows utmost respect. I wasn't his biggest fan, but I think it's ****ing awesome the number of people working to carry out his project after his death.
