Omg i know. My IMAX auditorium holds 600 people. I checked it again, like 20mins after we bought the tickets, and it was sold out.

I was able to get tickets for opening night! I used the Fandango app and it said I had to wait one hour in the queue. Then tried on a browser and only waited 3 mins. 

 

These films are great and just like with any other movie, you don’t have to pay the $15 to go see it. Three 2-hour movie per year is about 6 hours so basically like watching a full season of a tv show.

I’ve just been a huge comic book nerd since I was little, so it’s great for me to see all the progress comic books films have made. I can see where people dislike them though, especially in a cinematic universe as complicated as the MCU

I honestly watched probably most of older the movies, and I've really loved the really early ones. But the newer ones, and as some have pointed out, which are mass produced (like 3/4 a year) just don't do it for me. Same jokes every 20 seconds, most of the new ones being the same, bringing back characters just because their actors bring revenue. It's a business, I know.

I was refreshing for 6 hours STRAIGHT at work through AMC but ended up just having to buy 13 tickets at the good ol regular local non cool movie theater. SO EXCITED

FINALLY GOT TICKETS. Lorde, harder than getting 3rd row tickets to Adele, harder than Enigma, harder than Carly this morning.

Dolby Cinema, Lincoln Sq., 11am Saturday. All things perfectly balanced.

I was SHOCKED when the website finally loaded (I was trying like 8 different times and IMAX/Dolby theatres) and like they were all sold out already. Makes sense that people rushed to the theatre. The POWER that Marvel has - imagine when Gaga becomes the new Thanos in Phase 4?
