The Federal Carbon Tax that will drive up things like gasoline and propane among other things starts today in Provinces that don't already have their own Carbon Tax plan

 

If you live in the Province of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan or New Brunswick these lovely new costs apply to you :fan:

 

It's starts at $20/tonne and will go up $10/tonne every year until reaching $50/tonne by 2022

April 1st is a new budget year. It's just a coincidence that it's same day as April Fools lol

Good, it's about time we did something. I don't mind paying higher prices for gasoline if it means we're saving the environment.

I mean I don't think an extra 4 cents a litre is gonna save the environment. Higher prices do nothing for the environment if we're still gonna consume carbon just the same :rip:

 

But by the time it hits full price by 2022 who knows... By then it might be enough to convince more ppl to go electric
