I guess we can go on forever, but let me tell you the difference. At least I didn’t get so triggered by some other people’s opinion on a pop star, something that’s bound to happen on a pop forum, that they had to turn on condescending mode, calling people “pathetic” and “sad”, trying to place themselves on some pedestal just because they like a certain pop star. And yeah, I was under the assumption that a paragraph was not too much for you to read. Little boy, I still don't understand your point. What do you want? Could you leave me alone and stop popping up in my mentions? I can't believe that you have the AUDACITY to call me triggered when this whole exchange of badly written paragraphs was triggered by your inability to digest a single three letter word. Now that is sad. Sorry For the record, your attempt at shade really falls flat considering i'm a 4.0 literature major. Blindly taking cheap shots at someone you know nothing about almost always bites you in the back chaeri pls

Blindly taking cheap shots at someone you know nothing about almost always bites you in the back Heh, that’s what happens if you quote someone, they usually get to reply. Just figured that out? You’re saying you ain’t triggered, but let’s look at the things you did in this thread: -Call people ‘sad and pathetic’ for being shady to some pop singer. -Try to instigate that I “waste too much effort” by writing “a pragrapg” to read your lame attempt at being condescending to people with different opinions. -Brag about being a 4.0 lit major. By the way, I hope you’re like 40 years old or something if you like to “little boy” someone in their 30s. Sure taking cheap shots, like calling people whom you know nothing about “sad and pathetic”, on the Internet almost always bite you in the ass. AJRocketMan 2,684
I’m not a fan of her music or aesthetic, but I’m interested in watching how her celebrity unfolds. She does seem a little too deliberate in her attempt to make spooky art. Her schtick may very well be the future of Top 40 pop music for the next few years, though Billie herself may not be. Her age could contribute to her downfall or her rise. People tend to get sick of teen stars quickly, and Billie may experience a heavy Gagaesque backlash just because of her age. That or she may stick around for awhile until her career simply expires (she is 17 after all) like with Xtina. The classic Gaga years were quite short (6 years), and in the end Gaga was already 22 when she debuted. That’s pretty old for a debuting artist by 2010’s standards although that was normal at the time. Billie will almost certainly not handle fame as well as Gaga did then (she doesn’t seem like a superstar either). However, Lorde, a girl who she is obviously very much inspired by, has vocally stated her support for her and may even consider herself a fan (this was in 2017). She obviously believes in Billie and is excited to watch her grow as a person and as an artist. Who knows? Maybe they’ll even collaborate. In the end, it’s not up to us—it’s up to the teens. We already had our chance to shine in the sun as the prime demographic for Top 40 Pop music. We gave Gaga a career. She wouldn’t be where she is without us. Now it’s Billie’s turn. On 3/30/2019 at 7:04 AM, RAMROD said: she might, but most likely not. Her career can always end up like that crybaby singer, you know, only hyped for a season. I don’t understand who you are referring to. Are you talking about Sam Smith? On 3/30/2019 at 7:32 AM, Anisko said: She's a good singer but there's nothing new with her sound .. The only girl that i'm seeing her as the future of pop is lorde ... But sadly she don't get enough credits She doesn’t release enough music... Seriously, there’s been a few artists in the last decade who have been able to bring something to the table that we haven’t experienced before, and grew a huge fan base from it. Obviously, Gaga. I also believe Lorde and Lana have done the same. And now Billie. I’m excited to see where her career goes from here, but it’s undeniable that she’s talented and her team is killing it. Look up her tour dates, they’re literally ALL sold out. From a debut album. You can’t deny her impact. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk have a great weekend xoxo But isn’t Billie of the same vein as Lorde and Lana? They’re all cut from the same cloth IMO. What Billie is doing isn’t truly new even in the pop culture world—our generation did that first. On 3/30/2019 at 12:25 PM, Thotiana said: I think a lot of you forget that most of us are in our 20’s and some even in their 30’s. Billie could be the future of pop. Because it’s not up to us anymore. Our pop queens are from the late 90’s and early 00’s. I think you mean the late 2000’s and early 2010’s. I was a very little boy in the late ‘90s/early 00s. Britney and Xtina are of my sister’s generation (same age as Gaga), not mine.
freebit 6,240
Pop star releases a song/album/video. It is inoffensive, kind of generic, but otherwise ok, and does well. ATRL/GGD/Popjustice/Popheads etc.: Billie's music is fine, and I'm happy for her success, but future of pop? She is basically an aftershock of Lorde. On 3/30/2019 at 10:29 AM, ChromeAngel said: Her career is already 6 years old and she’s released only 2 albums. Wasn’t there only one single from her last album? She’s never on the radio, at least where I live. Sorry but lorde isn’t ever going to be queen of anything This is so OTT that its actually funny to me. This comment kind of reads like Lorde is some relic with her own thread in the Comeback Corner section of Popjustice.

If you really think there's such a thing as failing or winning arguments on Gagadaily, please find somewhere else that suits your passion or your age group. It seems that you don't want to engage in the lingo and overall nonchalance of this pop forum. You're not supposed to get upset by my using however much letters I want in my contractions. The bottom line is that it's not that serious. Why would you be that affected by something as petty as an argument over a 17-year-old singer? It's not even like you had anything actually substantial to say. I never attacked anybody's opinion - if I were to do that I'd spend all day on this forum. The one thing I found 'sad' was someone claiming Billie can't sing; their whole contribution to this thread was 'queen of whispering' or something like that, which is absolutely ridiculous and as I already said just a hive/bandwagon phrase thrown around by people who clearly haven't taken the time to check out Billie's music. Somehow that offended you and you felt the need to tell me I have no right to find this pathetic, after which you resorted to repeated changes of topic and personal attacks to which I thought "okay, I guess he wants to troll/fake catfight, two can play this game"; I never knew you would take it so personally. Please, by all means, do consider this 'argument' won by you if it means that much. The most baffling thing to me is you having the nerve to call me condescending when the first things you said to me were literally "i know it’s hard for you to fathom this" and "I was under the assumption that a paragraph was not too much for you to read." Seriously? Who says that? chaeri pls
