She needs to let her other material breathe next year and can't split the votes. ASIB's soundtrack will be up for Best Soundtrack For Visual Media (it was released after the deadline last year, likely so it could get 2 ceremonies of nominations out of this), it may well also be up for AOTY (yes, soundtracks can be nominated and have won and she can't risk 2 of her albums going against each other resulting in a vote split) and she'll probably have a feature on Mark Ronson's next single which will be up in Best Electronic (his song with Dua Lipa won in that category this year, so it's possible). And depending on when she releases the new single, that could be going up in the pop song category and maybe even SOTY and/or ROTY if it's popular enough. That means she could be up for as much as 6 awards without even taking the new album into consideration. It's too risky to throw that into the mix as well. But regardless of whether she competes against Adele or not, I really don't think they'll let her sweep again and especially not AOTY for the third time in a row. I've always found it annoying that succesfull albums had to wait for another 12 months to be nominated. Like, what's the point of nominating a 2016 album in 2018?
