He has a very consistent record on issues that voters care about. && doesn’t matter what democrat runs, Trump is going to brand them as a socialist commy crook so I see no reason to be alarmed by nominating someone who says what they are. His is economic populism and anti-interventionist message along with his record on trade leaves Trump with only the socialist Lane to work with. Democrats are behind Sanders platform clearly and will want Trump out. The only people that won’t be excited about a Sanders ticket are going to the the 2016 HRC supporters and rich democrats who would rather complain about Trump because his policies don’t affect them nearly as much as it does the working poor. Ironically this same office that is bringing charges to Avenatti is the same one who is throwing Cohen in prison. And Avenatti helped do that. Pft he has one thing to boast about: not being totally exonerated. That’s not exactly stellar news so far from the election. This dude steps in it daily. if anything, this puts more pressure in the Democrats to put pressure on him since everyone was just waiting for the Mueller report which isn’t even a slam dunk for him to swing voters who see him as an erratic mess (when they poll for him it’s because they hate Hillary which isn’t hard for most or because he hasn’t done a colossal f up in a minute). If the full report leaks or more details or Mueller testifies to clarify what Barr will not those findings get muddier and become a murkier success for Trump.
