And actually, the EU is kinda wants UK out, UK was never really 100% into this union anyway, the were a lone wolf inside the union and also it's economically better for the rest of the EU countries if the UK leaves... since the Brexit announcement many companies started to ditch the UK and move to Germany/Italy/France and others for their European headquarters, etc.

That is actually hilarious. Now that the UK wants to stay the EU moved on and wants them gone :lmao:

Protesters literally successfully created enough political and social pressure that has stopped every oil pipeline in the last 10 years from being built here in Canada and it's become a huge political problem because our biggest export (oil) is now selling at a discount cause we can't build anymore pipelines.

 

Sometimes protests can have a big impact depending who it influences
