(meaning that he wasn't taking a pill everyday, only when needed) people who choose this regimen are usually at a higher risk... its a fact that prep is the safest way to protect oneself + resistance to truvada is extremely rare (which isnt about to change anytime soon). No it is not. Its to reduce the spread and transmission rate of HIV. There are many other STIs that can be transferred that our only protection is a condom. So just because you take Prep doesn’t mean you should not be wearing a condom.
