Well either way Chicken pox is ****ed up. Yeah you can catch it as a kid.

However that just means you have a chance of getting shingles as you get older. And shingles can f*uck you up.

Chicken pox is weird.

Yeah tell me about it,

I even remember going out of my way several times as a kid to catch it from other kids and never did :saladga:

Maybe i'm naturally immune but hell nah i aint takin that chance

Anti-vax is probably the most stupid, ignorant, no-brain thing in the world right now. Some people do deserve this.

Most people don't get a vaccine though?

It's one of the few I thought people just let kids get. Then you can never catch it again (until maybe when you're really old)

Sadly, I have never had it and now will need to pay to get a vaccine as it can kill you when you're older. :messga:

Ironically,  I live in a country called ’Bangladesh’ which other supreme countries call us ’Third World Country’ but even the illiterate people know about Chicken Pox vaccination. I got the vaccination when I was a child and also once I had chicken pox.

Interestingly the debate of vaccination in the states is really fascinating in the modern age. 🌸

Lmao that's all well and good where you are but here in the UK it's unlikely people get a chicken pox vaccination.

Kids usually get it once while growing up and we move on, also that's to say we are an extremely pro-vaccine country and we get them for free on the NHS so if it isn't routinely done here like everything else I can't see why it's important.

I knew it existed but didn't think it was used unless like me you haven't had it before and i'm 22 therefore if I don't wanna die from it I would need to get one.

Also, isn't it like super rare to get chickenpox a second time in your life? ...And once you have had it... surely that defeats the purpose to be vaccinated? :toofunny:

Like if you got vaccinated you wouldn't get it anyway and if you got it then you don't need a vaccine... not both

Personally I was just making a point about how it would have been more ironic if it was a disease that was widely vaccinated at birth/young age :ally:

Wow where?

In the US virtually all kids get the vaccine.

I was born in 1995 and never had chicken pox.
