It totally does depend on whether Gaga was offered a percentual cut from the total gross and home video sales in her contract. Previous reports have stated that both Gaga and Bradley were compensated with minimum wage for SAG actors, so $985 per day (This is a condition both had to accept in order for the movie to be greenlit by Warner Brothers since the budget was really tight). With 42 days of shooting, that would amount to approx. $41,000 for Gaga. Calculating how much Gaga earned from the ASIB soundtrack is not impossible, but very arduous because she's not involved in every track to the same degree (in some she's just a producer, in some she's a songwriter & producer, in some she's a performer, songwriter & producer and in some she is just a performer). Typically Spotify pays out $0.006 to $0.0084 per play, which then is going to be split between the labels, producers, engineers, songwriters, potentially instrumentalists and then singers of a song. You could calculate the overall revenue, but the final splitting and how much money Gaga gets will forever be a mystery (unless she leaks the details of her current contract with Interscope). Supersonic 49,376 Posted May 8, 2019 Share Posted May 8, 2019 What's also very interesting is that a band basically leaked the receipts they got from Spotify and their average pay out rate per stream is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than Spotify actually says it is (They got paid $0.004 per stream, which is like half of what they're supposed to be paid according to Spotify). The country where the stream originated from is also very important while getting payed out, streams from Australia are worth twice or even eight times as much money as countries from Europe or the United States. They played a bunch of songs (including Beautiful Dirty Rich) and when Paparazzi played, I got chills because it said “ready for those flashing lights” while Gaga was getting her pics taken.
