During Beyonce's blackout, she shot 17 music videos and recorded 80 songs: all without a manager. During Gaga's blackout, she rolled about in a gold wheelchair and did some songs and then scrapped most of them and then fired her manager and then made a mess of the era before it had even begun. She doesn't have the same dicipline as Beyonce. I believe she was high during those 6 months. She's a mess right now. IMO, even though she's been critiqued in the past, she's just throwing a tantrum now because at the moment, there are more people critiquing her than there are people supporting her, and she's just not used to that after having such a critically successful career. One of my writing teachers gave great advice on criticism, and I hope someone gives similar advice to Gaga... My teacher said it's like when you're at a party, and one person says that you're drunk...well, they may be right or they may be wrong. It's their opinion. But when you have four or five people telling you that you're drunk...then you better stop drinking and sit the f*ck down! Haha. Right now, Gaga has millions and millions of people, people who are her FANS and have supported her every step of the way, telling her that she's drunk a little too much of the ARTPOP koolaid and needs to sit down. But she won't sit down. Then she just complains about how people who are looking out for her best interests are telling her to sit down. I'm so sick of it. The girl is drunk on ARTPOP and isn't listening to anybody who's telling her to stop. Just like alcohol, I guess the only thing left to do is wait it out and let it get out of her system. Maybe she'll wake up one day with an ARTPOP hangover, remember everything that happened like it was a bad dream, curse her bad decisions, and then get back to making good music after a cold shower and some coffee. Adakam 2 Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) some people in this thread have went borderline idiotic, enough the point that she is trying to get trough is that critics are just regular people with opinions, and that the fact that they are paid to give their opinions doesnt meant their opinion is right, or that it should be respected more, that we should make our own opinions ourselves and not base it on the GP, sales, or metacritic, AND that the only opinions she really cares about now, are those frome people with artistic brains, WILSON, MARINA, KOONS, ELTON, not from random people that got jobs in magazines, or a bunch of teenagers GOT IT NOW OR DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT AGAIN? Also, Does she not remember when she was a judge on So You Think You Can Dance back in 2011? She's not a professional dancer so why was she judging the show? I don't care if she was there just to promote. Lol.. Gaga is becoming a walking contradiction now. She needs to relax and keep in mind that there are always going to be critics, and the best she can do is either not read the critiques or read them and learn from them instead of being sore and bitter. She says all these things but no one is keeping her to them. I really think now that Troy had the thankless job of keeping her to her deadlines and such, and he jut got fed up with her lack of discipline and started arguing with her more than ever. Some seemed more bitter about HER instead of just how they didn't like the album. It seemed like they wanted to attack her on a personal level.
