I find it hypocritical as **** that she doesn't come on here anymore because of the "negativity", even though the LM.com crowd are THE most overdramatic, whiny, bratty group of fans only second to the Twitter Monsters. Actually, maybe they're not second to them. They might just be the worse. Idk. She has a pretty childish fan base overall and I think that GGB is probably the epitome of maturity that you'll find within this fan base, sans a few members. Just because Gaga has online platforms besides Twitter etc... and has the most fans (from the pop girls) doesn't mean her fanbase is the worst .. Every fanbase is the same. Not throwing shade, but there's a reason for everything and if she wants one...she'll need to work much harder for it...Katy and Gaga can't be compared to a lot of things musically Yes, i totally agree, that it is about the quality of music, i would say the quality of her art. And i think she deserves it. The problem here is, that a few people decide who wins these awards and who doesn't, and as we heard lately, some of them don't seem very qualified or don't even feel qualified to vote for those award shows. I agree about the voting system being...flawed, but having #1 songs and playing many shows still doesn't mean you deserve a Grammy...what the public would consider a #1 song, might be considered too basic, even amateurish to the judges and won't see it as anything worthy of a Grammy...Katy's songs may be catchy, but we have to look deeper to see if it's Grammy worthy. Gaga writes her own music...Katy doesn't...(she may write some, so of course they put her name first in credits, but she probably didn't write much)... Gaga co produces everything she makes...Katy doesn't... Gaga's concepts are deeply rooted in art culture and social statements...Katy sings about very simple topics, nothing too deep... The list can go on and on and we can see the difference...if Katy wants to get a Grammy...she needs to take her music more seriously and put more substance and heart into her OWN work...
