Truth 90
I thought she couldn't become more immature than she was in 2012, but here it is, she always surprises. I know well that dealing with criticism is not easy, but for God's sake, it's part of her job. I can't stand how she writes that nobody can judge her work, because is utter bull****! Does she really believe she is above others? Someone should ground her, because it shouldn't be Gaga who says what is good n what is bad, but her audience. And how much is she qualified? Did she study art? or just became a pop singer? Because if she's so proper and stuck to saying that only professionals are allowed to judge the results of their job, she should think twice about what makes you a professional. For many she's not. Critics for example are very well acknowledged and experienced with music and its history. But instead of taking a while to listen to them and to see what they point out, she takes every less favorable opinion as an attack. Was that ok for her when they were praising her every step? I think she didn't have any problem, so what's going on now? She is such a goddess that nobody can have a different view? By the way, I can't really understand some of you saying that she's only the human, ok, I get it, everybody can have a breakdown, but nobody forced her to her into this business. It's a very tough one, but she didn't mind. And if she really didn't care about money, she could have been a niche artist - at least she wouldn't be criticized that much. They are many many people who dedicate their lives to what they do. Good to know she thinks she's so unique. To end with, I don't know what's wrong with her lately, but with such attitude she should prepare herself for even harder times. It's really turning off to see what kind of mess she makes with her growing ego. If she can't deal with fame, critique, then sorry, but maybe it's time for her to have a longer holidays or to seek for a professional help. Qualle1 1,385
Me too Gaga of all people...... Yes, of course I fully support online kindness - but if she can't take serious critisism anymore, she better quit her "job" being a pop-star! :( MAKE LOVE NOT WAR
No Angel 128
I can't! Guess TechHaus is gonna block me TechHaus probably blocked me on twitter a long time ago. Its a bad theory. Purely subjective.
Disregard 50
Affected, sure. Obsessed? Don't know why we should assume that, especially in this specific situation. You're focusing way too much on specific words in this thread. She's affected, fine, not obsessed. None of this is sparking any worthwhile discussion that is going to change either the critics opinions or the fans reactions to negative reviews, and none of it is a good look for Gaga, regardless of her levels of affectation or obsessiveness. doveve 526
Ok, so, from now on Gaga has no excuses to not surprise and impress us with her artistic vision and I'm not talking about being number one, but about making an amazing videos, performances, tour stage and concept etc. Lately, she talks so much about how amazingly talented she is, but does completely nothing. The next thing she does must be creative, amazing, inspiring, artistic..

Truth 90
she's really not that bright. what a silly thing to say and a terrible a--logy. criticising someone else is the same as criticising yourself. all right, i'll check myself next time i even think of criticising the nazi regime. i mean i really can't have an opinion on mein kampf when i wasn't really in hitler's shoes. and then again hitler wrote mein kampf in german, so reviewing it would be a mistake since i don't speak german and only german people can criticise german words except no one can criticise anything because wah my album was panned. i hope she takes a 10 year break after this meltdown and next time she puts out an album she does one or two interviews and goes back to sleep. This. By the way it makes her such a hypocrite - why did she criticize Russia and Putin? She is not even Russian, she has no idea about it's culture, history, she doesn't know even the language... Disregard 50
Its a bad theory because its not based on any facts. It has no foundation. Because you made it all up. Just like you made it all up that she's just trying to spark up a discussion about the merits of criticism of art. You don't know that any more than whatever you're trying to argue against. Kermit the frog 1,895
I keep saying, her focus is not on whining about what the critics are saying about her. It's about getting us to question and discuss the role they have in how we evaluate and experience art. In the end the message is still the same; its the music/art that should matter, to her but also to us. Oh how much I wish it was all that! Sorry, but what you're doing right now is overinterperting her babbling and overestimating her intelligence. She hasn't said anything that would spark any kind of discussion. She makes herself to be a martyr and that's exactly what her little monsters like because they can relate to that. She is blowing this whole situation out of proportion, her huge ego couldn't take this blow of criticism and what she does now IS whining. I love these kind of arguments, everything is always brought down to "It's all subjective!!!" or "she's just a human!!!" Well in this situation is not subjective since Gaga herself refuses to acknowledge the meaning of that word.

Yeah, great look, just look at the replies in this thread. She's being taken very seriously. Also, reviews for ARTPOP are being revised all across the web, saying "You're right! How dare we judge you since we've never recorded a pop album? It's probably great! But how would we know since we've never recorded a pop album?"
