garnite 8
she's really not that bright. what a silly thing to say and a terrible a--logy. criticising someone else is the same as criticising yourself. all right, i'll check myself next time i even think of criticising the nazi regime. i mean i really can't have an opinion on mein kampf when i wasn't really in hitler's shoes. and then again hitler wrote mein kampf in german, so reviewing it would be a mistake since i don't speak german and only german people can criticise german words except no one can criticise anything because wah my album was panned. i hope she takes a 10 year break after this meltdown and next time she puts out an album she does one or two interviews and goes back to sleep. Jeff Kunst 0
Her only way of "dealing" with her criticism seems to be obsessing over it instead of to simply "keep on keeping on." You keep talking about assumptions but your own assumptions that she's just very lax about it and trying to create discussion is just as much of an assumption. I don't see an effort to create a discussion, I see an effort to paint herself as a misunderstood outcast, which is what this fanbase LOVES, because most of them see themselves the same way. It keeps people committed, which is what she needs. Which brings up another point. "It doesn't matter what people think about you, you're great! You were born this way!" On the other hand, if you create something and someone has a different opinion, be sure to worry about what other people think. But what makes you think she's obsessing? Can't she consider and talk about the subject a handul of times, in response to what fans keep bringing up, without it being an obsession? Again, consider that he doesn't care what critics think but she cares that her fans care about that. I didn't say anything about being "lax", but you do know you choose the tone that you read her text in, right? Jeff Kunst 0
If she seriously got mad at Troy for blocking that abomination... Then again she also thinks "Onion Girl" and whatever this is are acceptable The lack of quality control Quality is subjective. What's wrong with Onion Girl, a song you've never even heard and you know next to nothing about?
No Angel 128
You just made it up, so it seems unlikely to be true. The truth is that we don't know enough to make any real conclusions It could be a true theory. It could be true that Gaga is an egomaniac who hates any form of criticism she gets, good or bad. It could also be true that Troy was truly in it for the money and wanted to run Gaga dry until she had nothing else. Gaga never lied when she said ARTPOP was about possibilities. Just these 'possibilities' she spoke about are very negative and raining heavily on her. We can see that by these posts she's making daily on LM.com. So it seem untrustworthy. A terrible song title, with terrible lyrics and a--logy if that tweet is anything to go by (and it is, knowing her) This is a perfect example of why quality is subjective. The tweet as lyrics for the song is just a rumor.

You're giving her way too much credit as being someone who is fully satiated by their own merits, success, and personal accomplishments. This is someone who cried about feeling like a loser before playing a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden at the end of a massive and hugely successful tour. Let's GET REAL. The girl is affected by the the approval of others.
