Anyone who believed those rumours to begin with actually needs to be committed :smh: Interscope wouldn't even spend $25m on Madonna or MJ if he were still alive to promote his albums, much less Gaga, it's such a ridiculous amount, gawd.

And even if they did, wtf would she have done with the money? Like, which promo could've costed 25 million :rip:

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with her there. People telling me my writing was **** gave me the drive to be better and be happier with my talents. If those people never openly hated my work when it was bad, I never would have known that it was bad and would never have improved as an artist or a person.

Yea totally agree. When it comes to skills, like singing, and acting, etc. you do need critique to get better. IT helps you see what you don't know what you're doing wrong, or things you can improve on. It's essentially the same thing any private lessons teacher does with their musical student, and even what musical students do to themselves. It does help you grow in some aspects.

If my friend wasn't brutally honest with me and my singing and instrumental skills, I probably wouldn't have gotten the opportunities I've gotten today.

One cannot be defensive to critique and assume it is just negative. Critique is here to help.. However, many people like to excuse their simple negative bashing as critiques which is not the same thing.

Except she's already an established artist, she doesn't need anyone to tell her she's bad, she wouldn't be here if she was bad.

EVERYBODY always has room for improvement. Even the greats need to learn to accept criticism.

But again alot of people are not criticizing gaga, they're just saying this sucks, I dont like this yada yada. Which is not the same thing is critique.

Also...criticizing art is a very grey area. When it comes to art, I believe the only truly helpful critic is yourself, as only you know exactly what you're aiming for in an idea, emotion, or expression. Outside critique has a huge potential to misguide you.

I may be taking this wrong but is she scolding the people that are on LM about nasty comments they made towards her?  This is how I took it.

Whole promo idea for ARTPOP was bad. She started promoting it more than a year before releasing. It's ultra much. Beyonce got 3 times better sales in double less days in first week WITHOUT any previous promo. That's slayage my friends. Things changed. Gaga must realize this and move forward. I'm sure she can come back to top! Luv. S

Mister G

I love when Gaga addresses people and puts out messages like this. People on here have been feeding into the negativity--you know who you are--for too long now. I swear this woman has been attacked left snd right and it sucks when the majority is coming from fans.

A fan wrote this:

I really can't explain how I felt when I saw Gaga's painting. I know she is channeling emotion into art because I did the exact same thing during the darkest time in my life. Gaga I can just tell you that you are art and you are everything you have the power to be and record labels and the media can't change that you genuinely love your fans and the art you create with them. I am proud of how far you have come and how much **** you've dealt with and maybe I don't know what's going on in your personal life but just remember that here I will always hold you in the palm of my hand when you are sad and I will be sad with you. When you're lonely I will be lonely too. I really hope that you are going to be alright with how you're feeling and that you can rely on family and taylor to make you smile. I don't care about charts and awards I ****ing care about you and the music and art you create for the fans not the public. I love you to Venus and back babe. @gaga

And Gaga replied:

Goddess of Love

you are so beautiful , and your message to me is so powerful. in fact it is much more than the media, the media has also supported me in the past. there are always ups and downs. my heart breaks from the people i have trusted and loved who i've worked so closely with, who have used me, lied to me, worked me into the ground for the personal gain. when i woke up in the hospital after my surgery there were many people that were not there. my health did not matter. i did not matter unless i could perform. this is a very hard lesson. I have lost love ones to the greed of money. it is not interscope. They in fact love me very much and will see ARTPOP to the end.

Who do you think she's talking about? Troy?

UPDATE: Idk if this was posted, but she also said this:

"I'm sorry you feel that way, be patient with the message. I am a cunning goddess with tricks up my sleeve. Sometimes new things take time to grow. But our Kingdom is forever"

I think it was in a reply to someone whining about the video...

she used that as her recipe book now idk whats going on

Seems she broke all the 'rules' from her rulebook this era :dies: Wish she's just stop paying attention to the fans (and how they behave), the critics, everything and just do her.

I'm kinda done with the poor me vibe.

That's not it at all. She's talking about the kind of the community she wants to create, that she wants us to be. It's idealistic, maybe even naive, but not self-pitying.
