Imagine if Gaga did this at a tour

This is the kind of thought and technology I would’ve expected gaga to be doing. :madge:

This one seems more immersive but I just have to point out that the Enigma visuals were kinda the same concept? Except that it wasn't a 360 degree screen.

And I've said this before but I'm gonna say it again, the videos on YouTube don't do the residency justice at all. I had the opportunity to attend the show and it looked magnificent, I don't think this is a residency that you can complain about. It was close to being flawless.

Enigma was actually pretty immersive to me as well, I've never attended a show that made me feel like I was part of a science-fiction movie. It was a pretty psychedelic feel if you ask me.

I'm not saying this is the same thing as what Childish Gambino did, but you can't deny that this is the most intricate Gaga has ever been about a screen backdrop.

I mean, its cool but if you really look at it its just mapping, nothing that has never been done before

now, mapping on a human face, THAT was on the innovating direction...but she chose to not use Intel for enigma so...

it was a shame the tracking was kind of shaky in the Bowie performance, snapchat face tracking is better than that but I did see the face mapping used a few years previous with some great designs I always thought would work well with a Gaga performance

She will never use Intel tech for her tours/residencies because Intel will not receive any publicity. The Grammys and SB had Intel ads running

Impossible to do this on a tour tho. it was a one time thing in the California Desert because you need that dome to make it work.

Yea, but I think that was more on her moving more than expected. And the amount of graphics was much more complex than a Snapchat filter. The moving piano was innovative too, just a bit underwhelmingbht regardless they were able to make robots dance so...

That dome only held 3000 people standing. It was "theatre in the round", so the performer had his back to more than 50% of the audience always. A guy was flying animated characters around the screen during the show with a gaming joystick. Now we're getting somewhere. This is not best suited as a concert. They need to make a 3000 person multi-player video game where people can each play a character with their cell phones. No-one would travel to the desert to play it unless they can win real money as an esport.

thanks for posting such high-def photos. They definitely do the stage the most justice as I had thought it was just so-so from the livestreams I'd seen. These look spectacular

It was even more magnificent in real life, if you have to chance to visit Vegas, you should definitely consider seeing the show in person, it's even better than these photos.
