Aside from whether or not she was forced to say this, what she is saying means nothing - it's nothing more than what Wade and James have said. 

All Janet saw was the cheques Michael paid, which prove nothing.

She was estranged from her family at the time and later retracted these statements. I have no idea why this age-old interview is resurfacing everywhere, it's dumb.

This kind of misinformation smear campaign doesnt help your case if you are against MJ on all this mess. Thats why doing research is important.

Vitiligo. He used tons of make up first and then he got some cosmetic procedures done, discoloration if you may ask. He was a star, obsessed with his image, so he didn't want to have those white patches on his skin.

Michael had a skin condition called vitiligo - a condition that progressively turns black skin to white skin. Whilst in some sufferers, the condition only manifests itself in a few white patches, it can be very severe. 

With Michael, the condition was chronic and worsening. If you look back at old pictures of him, even as a child he had signs of vitiligo. His make-up artist was able to cover it pretty well though, shading out the white patches with darker foundation. 

As Michael grew older however, the white patches became so prominent that it was easier for his make-up artist to shade out the dark colours with lighter / white foundation. And as time went on, his face was almost fully white.
