To me, it is kind of tacky?? Imo, a song like this (the super positive love yourself message) is hard to do without making it tacky.

Of course gaga made born this way ICONIC and flawless, but those lyrics with a different artist and production could have made for a really cheesy song

It's alright - definitely not revolutionary or game changing Pop. I've heard this before, and not just in it's similarities to Sweet But Psycho; those chord changes in the verses have been used time and time again in Pop songs.

Sure it sounds like SBP but I always thought PF and JD sounded similar so it doesn't stop me from enjoying the song.

I mean the hate she is getting from this fanbase is ridiculous. She's just starting off her career. Give her some time to find her groove. The Fame wasn't a flawless album. Lots of filler. I mean for people to wish Ava to fail and that her career to end is just immature and you REALLY do sound like a salty bitter Madonna stan. I could understand if she said something bad about Gaga to not like her but she hasnt... If you don't like her or her music then don't listen to her. I think she's great and has some good potential that she hasn't tapped into but again literally everyone said the same thing about Gaga.  And I'm not saying she's the "next Gaga" cause no one can be the next anybody. But she can be another artist that brings music, fashion, technology and pop culture into what can sometimes be a shallow pop scene and we need more artist like her and Gaga.
