Definitely Ride For me, 3 years ago my 14 year old ass would cry to that monologue on the daily, it still is so beautiful tbh

marry the night & Ride are my two favorite short film music videos alongside ofc thriller and ghosts by michael jackson

Ride monologue is one of the best things she had ever done :nooo: but I voted for Tropico because it has more visuals

maybe I should watch Ride again to get all the impact, it’s been a while (years perhaps)

Tropico was one of the best things ever

Tropico is the only one i think of as "short film" automatically, and i voted for that because those visuals :golfclap:

But, the full length of Tropico is in the Paradise EP, while the others have some "exclusive content"

I'd like to have the spoken parts of National Anthem and Ride, and the happy birthday / clair de lune bits as interludes in the albums

Damon

this is actually a hard choice though, all four are masterpieces

for me it's a tie between ride and tropico, voted for ride on the poll bc its iconic-ness

... and now i just sit in silence.

Hard choice, I would go between Tropico and Ride.

I don't know how weird this is, but I get chills when Lana bites the apple and Marilyn starts screaming, even with whatever that Elvis was doing :laughga:.

I'd have to say Ride as that monologue still lives with me to this day, I can relate in so many ways and I remember mouthing away to the words during the interlude when I saw her live. But Tropico comes a very close second because the story, visuals and monologues are so beautiful. And it educated me about "hipster" being a word from the mid-50's!

Ride. It's so beautiful and everything about it speaks to my soul. :diane:
