ARTPOP is the only Gaga album not to have a deluxe edition

BTW doesn’t have it either. It’s called Special edition  She didn’t want to label it as Deluxe so why would you?

I think on iTunes it's called the Bonus Track Version, that's what I said in my original post. Sorry for the confusion

I like that idea, short works are easier to listen to in a single take, and there's something professional about it, i don't know, the shortest albums i can think of are TFM and paradise by lana (EP, ik ) and melodrama, and they are some of my favorites

personally i'd prefer MANiCURE instead of Fashion, but that's just me

I think deluxe editions are dumb anyway tbh, just release the full version and that’s it. Why would u have a 14 track and 22 track edition of BTW?

if u really need a deluxe, just make the remix cd the deluxe. Idk get why there would be 3 songs not necessary for the standard but needed for the deluxe.

Marketing  But tbh I think it’s cool for fans who collect, especially when they have diffent album covers (Joanne I’m looking at you )

There were non-deluxe foil editions and there are non-foil deluxe editions. Two different things. The deluxe version contains 2013 ITunes Festival DVD

The foil editions were limited editions that ended up being not so limited

I think they just wanted to sell more albums in general and just said that the foil editions were limited

Same here, but this is such a non-issue so it's cool. But seriously, I was so happy that we didn't get a "proper" deluxe edition with ARTPOP. Everybody gets all the songs, just seems more fair that way.

I enjoy bonus tracks so long as the standard album itself is clean and concise, I believe they're for the fans. You have your standard 'masterpiece' edition and then those who like it enough get to indulge in extra tracks from the same universe as the album you love.

I actually really like it. Two different covers usually AND it just feels like you get more songs
