Yes, I think the “awards and charts are not important” for her was only an ARTPOP era “stunt” (not saying it in a bad way), And I think she’s even more excited because of Bradley getting recognition.

I think you're right about the Bradley thing but I don't think the ARTPOP thing was a stunt. I think she genuinely does mean that but it's one of those things where if your work is getting a lot of success why not try to get that number 1 if it's achievable.

But Gaga was very hurt during the ARTPOP era and I think the backlash caused her to look at why she was an artist in the first place. It's not for the success, it's for the art.

Not only that but the ARTPOP era was to inspire fans. She wanted to encourage people to make their own art, that's why she has that speech at the Artrave about not needing a record label and only needing a brush and a canvas. Didn't she also refer to it as an artistic rebellion?

Anyway, I think since she's fixed her mental health and become a lot happier she's been able to focus more on her dream of being a star and obviously with that comes mainstream success.

I think at one point she decided to settle and be satisfied with what she's got but since getting her fire back she's realised why should I settle when I can have it all? And it's something I love about her. She's always aiming for bigger and better things. :flutter:

The people she works with call her a genius. She shouldn't let that part of her go to waste just because the charts don't matter. I think if she can do it then she should always be aiming for it.

Yes, And I don’t meant the ARTPOP thing as bad, I know she struggled, and I do think she doesn’t cares at all like she said, having hits it’s nice, but she got tired of being always on the magnifying glass at a certain point i guess.

She seems happy and to be enjoying it all :kara:

Definitely. I think duding ARTPOP she was just so down about failing she convinced herself she didn’t care about being successful. But i also think success means something different for Gaga. I don’t think she cares too much about the awards or chart specifics. I think she’s more looking for something with more longevity? She’s someone who’s always looking at the big picture more so than anything else.
