Born to die still my 2nd fav album just after "born this way" .. It aged so well and that's what makes me wonder what's exactly the thing that made the album a masterpiece?

I love Lana, but BTD is my least favourite album. It feels a bit immature, kind of like she wasn't ready to release a full album back then. Some songs sound a bit cheesy too.

I respect ur opinion but I can't find anything immature and cheesy in that album at least lyrically

Lana is NOT my #2

Lana and Gaga are both #1

her music and discography are iconic to me.

you told NO LIES AT ALL

Born to die, Paradise, UV, HM, and L4L are all iconic and unique in their own way. what a QUEEN

I agree. It’s by far her best album and one of my favorites ever. I thinks it’s because it’s actually very unique...the entire hip-hop/electronic influenced production combined with her voice is like no other album I’ve heard. It manages to be fun and catchy but also very dark and serious with crazy good lyrics. I love it!

Widows Kiss

It's one of my favorite albums ever. :huntyga: Does anybody know why the bonus tracks and the Paradise EP aren't available on Spotify anymore? :messga:

"Every time I close my eyes, it's like a dark paradise", is the first example that comes to my mind. To me, it feels like she was trying too hard to write a somber song that romanticises sadness.

I mean I still enjoy the album, but in comparison to her other work, BTD is far from being a masterpiece to me.
