you literally have no proof of this especially when Shallow out-streamed, and for the 3837th time, radio adds aren’t going to get it to go top 10 all alone-aka all it has left.

literally, every person I've asked in person that doesn't care for Gaga (that would be considered the general public) has said that they prefer ARUTW over Shallow. My mom, a few friends from work, my boyfriend, and my stepdad all agreed that ARUTW is catchy and sounds more "radio friendly" than Shallow. Due to this, will most likely receive better callout scores which will benefit its radio push. Shallow is doing well cause it has the biggest moment in the movie, and that's what everyone's talking about, but when the movie hype dies, ARUTW is the perfect contender for radio. HAC/AC will eat it up and pop will play it WAYYY more than Shallow, due to its structure fitting in with current radio hits. Even I can say hearing Shallow on the radio with manufactured pop music is weird and see why a lot of stations are ignoring it (it being a hit though is not a valid reason), but ARUTW sounds cohesive with everything else playlisted on top 40. I mean the song has no radio ads, and no playlist support right now, yet it's CRUSHING Spotify AND iTunes without even being a single. That says it all right there. No "proof" is needed. It's not a single so it's not going to "out-stream" anything sis. The numbers are right in front of you. This album track is going to cross 200M Spotify streams by the time it gets pushed. That's all the "proof" we need as to why it should be a single. :ohwell:

Good radio updates but Kiis and amp really need to at least ADD the song.

Stations not even adding the song is what's getting to me...

My local top 40 stations, Z104.3 has not played it ONCE since it's release but plays "8 Letters by Why Don't We" like every 3 hours and it's barely charting anywhere... I just don't get it. I've sent them a passive-aggressive e-mail this morning. :hor:

"I'm very confused as to why you all are STILL ignoring the #1 song in the country! Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper's 'Shallow' has been a pop culture phenomenon reaching the top 5 of every single major music market in the world with over 440M Spotify streams and over 380M Youtube views. The song is the most awarded song in history winning 2 Grammy's, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award, and dozens more! STOP PAYING HER DUST AND PLAYLIST IT. After all, you guys do play "hit music" right? Sick of the boycott. This is why I might stop listening to your station."

Much prefer Z100 in NYC. They have Shallow on power rotation where it rightfully deserves to be after having extremely high sales AND streams."

Yeah, I love Shallow but it really has a different structure and sounds like nothing on the radio rn (after Bradley’s verses you kind of expect a chorus and it doesn’t happen; the aaahh ah ahh part comes out of nowhere etc). The fact that it still hit #1 everywhere is almost a miracle.

ARUTW on the other hand is a classic pop ballad that doesn’t really sound like country, way more catchy than Shallow and with even more relatable lyrics. They gotta at least give it a chance.

agree with this 1000000%. Everybody I know likes ARUTW so much more than Shallow. I truly do think it would be a breakout success.
