Andreu 37,216 Posted March 2, 2019 Share Posted March 2, 2019 Regarding the boosts I think both opinions are partially right: on the one hard, Shallow would have not had a chance to be #1 if it was not performed in the Oscars and MR would have not gotten #4 without the Superbowl, they needed the exposure and the promo or whatever u want to call it. On the other hadn, you can promote songs as much as you want to: if the public doesnt like them, they wont chart well. She takes them and uses them to her advantage. That’s just promotion, marketing, and being a smart business woman. If the people didn’t like the songs, it wouldn’t have happened. They are EXTREMELY EXCLUSIVE and the fact that Gaga was invited to perform is a testament to her talent and influence You'd think any bitch can sing at the Oscars for 3 times or book a Superbowl in the midst of her "flop album"?
