Look how freaking gorgeous the makeup is in this picture. I loved the natural look and perhaps Gaga wanted to win this award without a thousand pounds of makeup on her face.

Unless it was a reference to the fans who didn't like it and made the poor woman leave Twitter, then yeah it is only makeup and they need to get a hobby or something.

I don't think it's productive to say Gaga's job is to wear makeup, or even look nice, but I understand why some people think that way. Like I said, Gaga, herself, is not for our consumption. But, really, we don't have to be our own worst enemies. Only fans think Gaga looked bad and that's telling. 

I didn't say that about the ones harassing Tanno either. Good lord.

1. There is definitely a demarcation between harassment/disrespect and constructive criticism that even her team acknowledges.

2. I am reinforcing the fact that even in the midst of all this, constructive criticism does have merit. Harassment doesn't. What qualifies or doesn't qualify to you personally as harassment must be different from mine, because mere suggestions don't put a dent in anyone's mindset so long as it comes from a place of respect. Make no mistake, what gets to anyone isn't mere suggestions but disrespect and belittling, which Stan Twitter is doing to her.

Nor did I suggest once that Gaga's job is  boiled down to wearing makeup. It just isn't. Above. Criticism. Plain and simple.

Stan Twitter may be an echo chamber of harassment and disrespect thereby fostering plenty of toxicity, but an echo chamber of yes men is harmful in its own way too.

Anyone wants to give “constructive” criticism, they need to go to school, apprentice for years in low paying jobs,work their way up to celebrity and professional clients, and THEN they will have the knowledge to talk to Sarah and Gaga, discuss the job parameters and celebrities wishes, and then give actual constructive criticism.  Otherwise you arnt even talking the same language.

I'm not that type of fan who shove everything related to gaga down my throat..  But criticizing things with bitchy attitude is just sooo disgusting and wrong .. Also i can't be the only one who loved gaga's makeup on the oscar.

Of course the necklace is the focal point, not heavy makeup. Of COURSE she went with a simplistic, fresh-faced look. It makes sense at least to me.

Any time you bash a Haus member, you might as well bash Gaga since they're close. Gaga is their employer, it's NOT okay. Guaranteed you won't say that stuff in person. 

And again, constructive criticism is respecting the artist's work with making suggestions to make the piece better or for the artist to consider, not sending hate mail laced as constructive. It's still hate, don't hide from under that umbrella like it's okay because again, it's NOT. 

She has every right to delete her stuff because some people are so extra with it it's not even a "joke" anymore it's flat out rude. Check yourself at the door, please.

I thought the white eyeliner and natural color lip made Gaga look younger. In the picture with the 3 other songwriters where she is busting out a huge smile for winning the Oscar, she looks about 16. It was her choice to explore this new look. In the edited picture that BorisIsHere posted, she looks like a strict old bitch, and quite common, nothing new.

I don't even know why this needs to be argued about, she can't change the makeup and do it over again. Why would you purposefully want to try to get someone to have regrets on a day that had so much joy? Rain on her parade, how rude. @#$%^ I was taught that if you didn't have something nice to say, don't say it. Social media today is almost the opposite. Largely Disgusting. 

 BTW, black might be an appropriate color if you don't think you'll win all the nominations.
