He can be really proud of his job He won a Grammy which is pretty cool. Plus for his debut he was nominated 8 times for the Oscars which alone is amazing. Bradley 58,735 Posted February 25, 2019 Share Posted February 25, 2019 There are many directors out there who wish their film debuts were as stellar and as acclaimed as A Star Is Born though, I mean how many people can say his film debut gets 8 Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Actress? Not to mention over $420 million worldwide box office and also a ton of other accolades including Golden Globes, SAGs, Critics' Choice, BAFTA not just for his directing efforts but his entire cast, he brought together a family whose work is acclaimed from left to right with some of the biggest charting songs the music industry has ever seen in a long while.
